Some quick thoughts and updates:
-The Celtics blew it last night the same way the Bulls blew game 5. Ben Gordon was out of the game, you have to finish them off!
-I had never heard of John Salmons until this series. He was killer.
-Derrick Rose outplayed Rondo for the first time in the series (barely missed in Game 1)...hopefully it was just an off night.
-Why did it have to be Joakim Noah that made the big play? Maybe because any Celtics player who thinks it's a good idea to pass the ball to Brian Scalabrine in crunch time should be punished. I love Paul Pierce but that was among the dumbest plays I've ever seen made. There was no possible good outcome from trying to throw the ball to Scalabrine. I would rather he just throw it out of bounds. So the sight of Noah celebrating after the game as if the series were over will hopefully stick in Pierce's craw and we can see a 45 point game from him tomorrow. At least there's a Game 7 for this awesome display of basketball.
American Idol game:
-Gentle's Giants is not as dead as I thought. Basically, if Kris Allen can place the highest of all the non-theatre contestants (see below), and Dana doesn't guess better than me at who's going home, then there's an outside chance for my team to win the inaugural American Idol Challenge aka "the effort to stomach Kara Dioguardi."

I got 6 points this week, Dana got 53, making the score:
Package Artists - 93
Gentle's Giants - 120
That is deceiving though because Dana has two in play to my one.
-Adam was in the bottom two...just one more gentle push, people. And he didn't make any friends by assuming he was better than Kris and Matt either. I think their little game backfired and lost some swing votes for Mr. Screamerson.
Friday Night Lights:
-I'm sorry but Jason Street's story makes me want to get a snack or go to the bathroom. I don't dislike him, but I don't care for his story anymore. Every minute he's on screen, means less of the characters we love. I keep thinking that if we had seen him when he was Mr. Everything, this story would resonate more...like the inevitable Smash storyline coming.
-We're two away from being out of this season and from what I hear, season 3 is going to be a good one!
One week out from Jamboe Cup I...my team will be The Heartbreakers, and we won't back down!
this is a picture of me getting in Mike's head using his own tactics. Pretty sure that throw never landed harmlessly in the grass. Expect to hear more stories like this one.

As if a casual fart noise could ever distract a legend like Mike Eady.
