Miley Cyrus? Really?

So what if I almost always catch myself singing along to "Party in the USA." I don't think that qualifies Miley Cyrus to be this week's "mentor." I (and especially Kent) could go on about that for awhile, but I'll get to the actual singing potion of the show.

Kent and I entered Tuesday night's competition with predictions: I chose Paige Miles and was almost immediately satisfied with my choice. Kent chose Andrew Garcia....always a good guess, but somehow he slips through every week. Time will tell. In the meantime, here are some quotes from our living room during last night's broadcast:

"Are we stupid?" -Dana

That's the worst American Idol performance I've heard." -Dana, in reference to Paige Miles

"I just have to hope that Andrew Garcia sucks worse than that." -Kent

"No." -Dana

"UGGGGHHHHHHH" -Dana after witnessing the Tim Urban knee slide. What?

"My team doesn't deserve to win because he's on it." -Kent, in reference to Aaron Kelly

"That rug really ties the room together . . ." -Dana

There weren't many good moments for the show. I thought Didi was good, but the judges proceeded to kill her for being too theatrical. Where was that criticism last season for Adam Lambert??

Sigh....I miss Bo Bice....

And David Cook....
